Great Orion Nebula Region

This photograph was taken on February 9, 1999 by Mark Deprest. He took it from his backyard in Northeast
Ann Arbor using a 8 inch Meade LX10 SCT and a 35mm Pentax camera set up for prime focus. It was a 5 min unguided
exposure using Fuji Superia 400 film.
The photograph is of the Great Orion Nebula region. (The Great Orion Nebula is also known as M42).
