This photograph was taken on November 21, 1998 by Mark Deprest. He took it at Peach Mountain with a 35mm
Pentax piggy-backed on a Meade LX10 using a 70mm f/4 lens and a 5 minute exposure of FujiColor ASA800 print film.
The photograph contains M31 (otherwise known as the Andromeda Galaxy) and the “pointer stars” Mirach
(2.0 magnitude reddish star - left, center) and Mu Andromeda (3.8 magnitude white star - center). North is
top-right.
