Auriga and the Pleiades
by Doug Scobel
This photograph of the constellation of Auriga and the Pleiades was taken by Doug Scobel in November 2006. This is what he said about the photograph:
While I had film exposing, I played around with the manual modes on my point-and-shoot digital camera and came up with some very pleasing results. The night images are 15 seconds (as long as the camera will go), f/2.8, ISO 100, then processed using Paint Shop Pro 8.
