Sunspots on June 19, 2004
by Doug Scobel
Here are a couple sunspot shots I took yesterday morning (June 19, 2004). Both were
taken afocally through my 8” f/8 with Baader solar filter, with a Nikon
Coolpix 800 digital point-and-shoot.
The full solar disk is with an old A. Jaegers 32mm symmetrical eyepiece.
The close-up is with a 14mm Televue Radian.
WARNING: Viewing the sun without proper protective devices can result in permanent eye damage.
