The Moon and Mercury
by Mark Deprest

The Moon and Mercury

Photograph taken by Mark Deprest from his backyard (Ann Arbor, Michigan). The small dot to the right of the moon is Mercury. It was taken on the morning of November 24, 2000 at about 06:55 EST using a 35mm Pentax manual focus camera and 200 speed Fuji Color Slide film. The exposure was 1 second with 35-70mm zoom lens, zoomed to 70mm at f/3.5. The slide was scanned and digitized by Clayton Kessler. That image was further processed (mostly just lighten up and sharpen slightly) using Thumbs Up 4.0 by Cerious Software.
