The Moon

These photos were taken from Peach Mountain on the night of July 28-29, 2004, through my homemade 8-inch f/8 Newtonian reflector. Images were taken by hand holding a Nikon Coolpix 800 digital camera to the eyepiece. The full view is through a Jaegers 32mm symmetrical eyepiece, the close-ups are through a Televue 14mm Radian. In all images north is at the top.
