On August 28, 2007, there was a total eclipse of the moon. It was visible in North & South America, Australia and Eastern Asia. Norb Vance took the photograph above and wrote the following:

Hi,

Attached is a pic of this morning’s eclipse I took from the parking lot of the ol’ condo just as totality was setting in around 5:50am....

C8 at f/6.3, Canon 20Da DSLR, 3.2 second exposure.
