On August 28, 2007, there was a total eclipse of the moon. It was visible in North & South America, Australia and Eastern Asia. Doug Scobel took some photographs that morning. He wrote the following:
Here’s a composite of eighteen images I took this morning, starting at 4:47AM and ending at 5:58AM. I used my Canon PowerShot A620 with 1.75x teleconverter, mounted on a tripod. Exposures ranged from 1/640 second to two seconds, all at an effective f/7.2. I used Paint Shop Pro version 8.0 to assemble the composite.
Hope you all got to see the show, it sure was purdy!
Doug
