May 6, 2006 was Astronomy Day, and a group of Lowbrows gathered near the Radio Telescope at Peach Mountain Observatory to collect some photons. If you haven’t seen it already, look at Astronomy Day 2006 at Peach Mountain Observatory (Part 1 of 2).

The International Space Station (ISS) was scheduled to make a pass, and it’s trajectory was such that it was possible to take a photograph showing both the radio telescope and the ISS in the same photo. The white line in this photo (just above the radio dish) is the ISS.
This photo shows the ISS on path that appears to intersect the path of an aircraft (of course the ISS is much higher than the aircraft). The solid white line is the ISS, the fainter reddish line is the aircraft.
