Jupiter and Venus over the Three Sisters

This is the view of the Three Sisters from a 6000 foot ridge east of Cougar reservoir in Oregon. It was taken by John Flinn and as he recalls it, it shows the conjunction of Venus and Jupiter on August 5th 2001. It was about 4AM. There have been an amazing numbers of close conjunctions these last two years.
