This is a photo of M51, also known as the Whirlpool Galaxy. Both M51 and the companion galaxy, NGC 5195, are both visible here. This is combination of 60 exposures of 60 seconds each. It was taken with a TV Genesis Scope and a SVX MX716 Camera.
