Comet McNaught
Comet C/2006 P1 (McNaught)
by John Kirchhoff
Here is an image of Comet McNaught taken at 6:02pm January 10th, 2007. We were fighting clouds the entire evening and were just about ready to call it quits when the comet appeared below the cloud deck at the top of the photo. It was very bright and easily visible to the naked eye.
Clear skies, John.
