Aurora of November 7-8, 2004
by John Kirchhoff
It sure was one spectacular display and had to be one of the best I have ever witnessed.
The display was in progress as the sky darkened and was really in full force between
7 and 8 pm. I went to bed at 10pm with the display still ongoing.
I woke up at 2am and watched until 3. The aurora was even more intense than in the evening with a tremendous amount of motion! Great colors with reds, blues, greens and whites evident.
These photographs were taken about 2:30 AM on November 8.
