Astrofest 2002

Astrofest is an annual event sponsored by the Chicago Astronomical Society and is held in Kanakee, Illinois. It’s an extended weekend of scopes, swap meets, astro vendors, talks and observing.

Typically a few members of the University Lowbrow Astronomers attend Astrofest.

This photograph was taken at Astrofest 2002 and shows from left to right: Tom Ryan, Brian Close and Jack Brisbin.
