Astrofest 2001

Astrofest is an annual event sponsored by the Chicago Astronomical Society and is held in Kanakee, Illinois. It’s an extended weekend of scopes, swap meets, astro vendors, talks and observing.

Typically a few members of the University Lowbrow Astronomers attend Astrofest. The following photographs were taken at Astrofest 2001 and shows John Causland, Doug Scobel, Doug Nelle and Jim Wadsworth.
