University Lowbrow Astronomers, Club Meeting of July 26, 2002

This page shows photographs from the July 26, 2002 club meeting. This was not a regularly scheduled meeting; it was scheduled so a special presentation could be given.

Roger Tanner

On July 26, Roger Tanner gave a presentation of a prototype of a Mars Camera. This camera is one of several proposals that may be flown on mission to Mars in the year 2007. Roger is sitting and the camera is in the foreground. See “Roger Tanner Comes Home” by Dave Snyder for more details.

Tom Ryan

I took the opportunity to take some photos of a few club members that had evaded my camera. This is long time Lowbrow, Tom Ryan. We choose the office door of Dr Mateo (in the Astronomy Department) as a background because it was colorful, and was close to room 807 where we met.

Bob Gehrke

After the meeting we went to the Brown Jug. This shows Lowbrow Bob Gehrke at the Brown Jug.

Brian Woodcock

Also at the Brown Jug was Lowbrow Brian Woodcock. Behind Brian, you can see a partially consumed Meat-Lover’s pizza and several other Lowbrows (including Roger Tanner and Doug Nelle).
