When ah was a kid, sonny, we had green TEXT on BLACK screens, and we LIKED it.
None of this fancy colored-linked-picture-on-backgrounds stuff.

Sheesh. Now folks wan't feature request lists, FAQ databases, and quick
content changes. They want web pages that aren't dragged down by purely
static content....

er...
:-)

Working on some dynamic sites with 34 dynamic mirrors (all PHP and MySQL
code), really, it's no big deal. All you need is the same code interpreter
at each site (be it Perl, PHP, whatever) and the same backend (MySQL,
Postgres, BerkelyDB). You pull a freeze of the master, and drop it to
the rsync area. The clients rsync, and fire up. Repeat as often as needed.
