O.K., boy: the "remake" of only one damaged file (for example: 1 day
to work) costs $ 400 (+ the trouble with the clients)... What is
cheaper???

And the "dont use Aliases" Mantra ... If you have importet 150
pictures from many different subfolders ... and you have every day
you work on that file to reimport these files, cause netatalk can't
remember the subfolders ... do you find this realy a joke? Or make a
new Mantra: "dont use subfolders" or don't import any files in a
pagemaker-document???.

I post the question: After this discussion, have I to serve the macs
with the NT-box, and use the Linux-box for the funny things like
e-mail, web-server etc.?

(nobody told me from the netatalk bugs -before- buying Suse Linux.
Most of people said that linux works much better than NT... Yes, it
works, it is fast, you have not to make a restart every friday ...
but you lost your work cause the files are damaged. Up to this time,
I have not realy fun with the pinguin.)
