Avalon

The true location of the Primal Pattern, it's a small island, about the size of Okinawa, with a large central plateau and a temperate climate. The island's population in total is about 250, and it has always seemed to hover right around there. The inhabitants refer to themselves as Feyans. Avalon is ruled by Ona, Oberon's twin sister. She originally had 12 children, seven daughters and five sons, who lived in private houses as opposed to a central residence or castle. At Oberon's insistence, the existence of Avalon was kept secret from those in Amber, so that Amber could take all of the attacks that Avalon would otherwise receive. Besides Oberon and Dworkin, only Faerie knew of Avalon, and they agreed to keep the secret. For a faerie to reveal Avalon's existence to a human was considered high treason. This secret was kept for almost 3,000 years, until a faerie soul was reborn in a human, Ariana. When she had her memories of her life as a faerie restored, she learned the secret of Avalon and decided to honor the promise she had made in her past life. Unfortunately, Brand mindraped her soon afterward, and learned this information, which he then sold to Zane. Zane attacked Avalon and killed much of the population, including two of Ona's children, Calypso and Raydon. The rest of Ona's children died when the Chasm created by the destruction of Ygg was mended, allowing the two long-separated halves of Trump to rejoin. This abruptly doubled the power of Trump, since both halves had regrown to full strength while separated, and the surge of energy proved far too much for the sensitive Feyans to handle. Ona nearly killed herself in grief, but was dissuaded from doing so by Brand. She has shrouded Avalon in mists to protect the Primal Pattern.

Feyans

Blake (deceased): Prince of Avalon, son of Ona, younger half brother of Echo, Clio, Ilarion, Quin, Raydon, Gregor, Calypso, Kelsey and Orlando, Merrick, older half brother of Colm, father of Vixen, grandfather of Rénard. He was 6 feet tall and around 175 pounds, with short, curly white hair and soft brown eyes. He was killed by the surge of energy created when the two halves of Trump merged.

Calypso (deceased): Princess of Avalon, daughter of Ona, younger half sister of Echo, Clio, Ilarion, Quin, Raydon and Gregor, older half sister of Kelsey, Orlando, Merrick, Blake and Colm. She was killed when Zane's forces attacked Avalon.

Clio (deceased): Princess of Avalon, daughter of Ona, younger half sister of Echo, older half sister of Ilarion, Quin, Raydon, Gregor, Calypso, Kelsey, Orlando, Merrick, Blake and Colm. She was killed by the surge of energy created when the two halves of Trump merged.

Colm (deceased): Princess of Avalon, daughter of Ona, younger half sister of Echo, Clio, Ilarion, Quin, Raydon, Gregor, Calypso, Kelsey, Orlando, Merrick and Blake. She was killed by the surge of energy created when the two halves of Trump merged.

Echo (deceased): Princess of Avalon, daughter of Ona, older sister of Merrick, older half sister of Clio, Ilarion, Quin, Raydon, Gregor, Calypso, Kelsey, Orlando, Blake and Colm. The eldest of Ona's children, she was 5'2" tall and weighed about 100 pounds, with short, dark brown, wavy hair, complete with bangs, and dark brown-green eyes. She was killed by the surge of energy created when the two halves of Trump merged.

Gregor (deceased): Prince of Avalon, son of Ona, younger half brother of Echo, Clio, Ilarion, Quin and Raydon, older half brother of Calypso, Kelsey, Orlando, Merrick, Blake and Colm. He was killed by the surge of energy created when the two halves of Trump merged.

Ilarion (deceased): Prince of Avalon, son of Ona, younger half brother of Echo and Clio, older half brother of Quin, Raydon, Gregor, Calypso, Kelsey, Orlando, Merrick, Blake and Colm. He was killed by the surge of energy created when the two halves of Trump merged.

Kelsey (deceased): Princess of Avalon, daughter of Ona, younger half sister of Echo, Clio, Ilarion, Quin, Raydon, Gregor and Calypso, older half sister of Orlando, Merrick, Blake and Colm. She was killed by the surge of energy created when the two halves of Trump merged.

Merrick (deceased): Prince of Avalon, son of Ona, younger brother of Echo, younger half brother of Clio, Ilarion, Quin, Raydon, Gregor, Calypso, Kelsey and Orlando, older half brother of Blake and Colm, father of Clarissa, grandfather of Fiona, Bleys and Brand, great-grandfather of Laughter, Alexandra, Whimsy, Oscar, Heather, Rinaldo and Grayson, great-great-grandfather of Haris, Iseult, Paxon, Isaac, Elspeth, Arawn, Pwyll, Lethe, Thorn, Castor, Pollux, Emer, Jordan, Meredith, Adrian, Jasper, Nigel and Tristan. He was killed by the surge of energy created when the two halves of Trump merged.

Orlando (deceased): Princess of Avalon, daughter of Ona, younger half sister of Echo, Clio, Ilarion, Quin, Raydon, Gregor, Calypso and Kelsey, older half sister of Merrick, Blake and Colm. She has white hair. She was killed by the surge of energy created when the two halves of Trump merged.

Ona: Queen of Avalon, daughter of Dworkin and the Unicorn, twin sister of Oberon, mother of Echo, Clio, Ilarion, Quin, Raydon, Gregor, Calypso, Kelsey, Orlando, Merrick, Blake and Colm, grandmother of Clarissa, Bridget, Gavin and Vixen, great-grandmother of Fiona, Bleys, Brand, Brendan, Jessica and Rénard, great-great-grandmother of Laughter, Alexandra, Whimsy, Oscar, Heather, Rinaldo and Grayson, great-great-great-grandmother of Haris, Iseult, Paxon, Isaac, Elspeth, Arawn, Pwyll, Lethe, Thorn, Castor, Pollux, Emer, Jordan, Meredith, Adrian, Jasper, Nigel and Tristan.

Quin (deceased): Prince of Avalon, son of Ona, younger half brother of Echo, Clio and Ilarion, brother of Raydon, older half brother of Gregor, Calypso, Kelsey, Orlando, Merrick, Blake and Colm, suspected father of Gavin and grandfather of Jessica. He was killed by the surge of energy created when the two halves of Trump merged.

Raydon (deceased): Princess of Avalon, daughter of Ona, younger half sister of Echo, Clio and Ilarion, sister of Quin, older half sister of Gregor, Calypso, Kelsey, Orlando, Merrick, Blake and Colm. Raydon was killed when Zane's forces attacked Avalon.
