Samuel Weigle of Fayette County, Pennsylvania:

1830 Samuel Wigle lived in German, Fayette County, Pennsylvania in a household with Males: 3 (age Under 5), 2 (age 5 thru 9), and 1 (age 40 thru 49); Females: 1 (age 20 thru 29). John Coover, Ephraim Watters, and Francis Fast, listed nearby, were listed near Henry Weigle in the 1820 census, suggesting that Samuel inherited his father's farm. [1]

1840 Saml Wygle lived in German, Fayette County, Pennsylvania in a household with Males: 1 (age Under 5), 1 (age 5 thru 9), 2 (age 10 thru 14), 3 (age 15 thru 19), and 1 (age 60 thru 69); Females: 1 (age 5 thru 9), 1 (age 10 thru 14), and 1 (age 40 thru 49). [2]

1842 Sarah Wigle, wife of Samuel died on April 6, 1842 and was buried at Jacob's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in German Twp, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. [3] [4]

1850 Samuel Wygle (age 50) lived in Nicholson, Fayette County, Pennsylvania with John Wygle (age 23), David Wygle (age 22), James Wygle (age 21), Jefferson Wygle (age 18), Amanda Wygle (age 17), Josiah Wygle (age 16), and Samuel Wygle (age 9). [5]

1860 Samuel Wigle (age 68, born in Maryland) lived in Nicholson Twp, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, at post office Repparts Cross Roads, with Samuel Wigle (age 22). [6]

1868 Samuel Wigle died in March at age 79 and was buried at Jacob's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in German Twp, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. [7] [8]

1868 John Weigle petitioned the court of Fayette County stating that Samuel Weigle of Nicholson Twp had died intestate on January 4, 1868 leaving surviving heirs John, Jefferson, Josiah, and Samuel and two deceased sons James and Henry. James left heirs George, William, Jacob, and (blank space). Henry left son William. The estate included land in Nicholson Twp that Henry Weigle had left upon his death in 1831. John Weigle petitioned to partition the estate.

Samuel Weigle of Hanover Borough, son of Francis Weigle of Paradise Twp, York County:

1783 Francis Weigel was taxed as a single man in Hanover Borough, York County. [10] [11]

1783 Francis Weickel was taxed (Phds) in Heidelberg Twp, York County. [12]

1785 Francis Wikle was named on the muster role of Captain Hupert's second company in the York militia. [13] Francis was named on a list of fines. [14]

1791 Francis Wickel purchased land from Ludwig Walter in Paradise Twp, York County. [15]

1798 Francis Weigle was listed with a wood house and 2 lead windows in Paradise Twp, York County. [16]

1799 A payment was made to the York treasurer on account of Francis Weigle on April 19. [17]

1799 Francis Weigle was taxed in Paradise Twp, York County. [18]

1808 Samuel Harnish was appointed as guardian for John and Elizabeth Weigle, minor children of Francis Weigle above the age of 14. [19]

1810 On August 9, Samuel Weigle, eldest son of Francis Wigle deceased, petitioned the court to partition the estate. [20]

1810 On September 18, Samuel Weigle, eldest son of Francis Wigle deceased, inherited land in Paradise Twp, York County from a partition of the estate, subject to payments to the widow Margaret and to other heirs John and Elizabeth Weigle. [21]

1811 Samuel Weickel sold land in Paradise Twp to John Mummert on April 12. The transaction was described in a deed dated 1826. [22]

1812 Amanda Weigle, daughter of Samuel Weigle and Margaret Shaffer, was born on August 30.
1832 Amanda Weigle was married to John Heagey, and John. They had children named Alice Jane Heagy, Samuel Weigle Heagy, Anna Maria (Mary Heagy, Maria Heagy, and Eliza Anne Heagy.
1877 Amanda Weigle died on January 25 in Williamstown, Pennsylvania. [23] [24]

1814 Samuel Weigle, wagon-maker, and wife Margaret of Hanover, York County, Pennsylvania sold land to Henry Bernhart on March 15. Samuel Weigle had purchased the land from the administrators of the estate of John Klink on April 1, 1812. [25]

1832 Samuel Weigel, child of Samuel Weigel and Margaret Weigel, was born on June 16.
1832 Samuel Weigel, child of Samuel Weigel and Margaret Weigel, was baptized on November 7 in St Matthew Evangelical Lutheran (Lutheran), Hanover Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [26]

1838 Margaret Weigle of the Borough of Hanover made her will on June 26. Her estate was to be equally divided among her three children viz Samuel Weigle, John Weigle, and Elizabeth intermarried with Henry Boyer. An advance was given to son Samuel for the loss he sustained on the real estate of Francis Weigle his deceased father. [27]

1850 Samuel Weigle (age 64, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Hanover Twp, York County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Luther Weigle (age 29), Susan Weigle (age 25), Martin Weigle (age 5), Amelia Weigle (age 2), Henry Myers (age 20), John Strayer (age 18), Ephraim Carl (age 28), Margaret Weigle (age 55), Maria Weigle (age 32), Sarah Weigle (age 21) and Samuel Weigle (age 18). Samuel Weigle was a wagon maker. [28]

1850 Samuel Weigle and wife Rebecca of Hanover Borough, York County sold land in Heidelberg Twp to Martin Lohr on September 18. Samuel Weigle had purchased the land from Henry Meyers. [29] [30]

1860 Samuel Weigle (age 73, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Hanover Twp, York County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Rebecca Weigle (age 60) and Maria Weigle (age 36). Samuel Weigle was a laborer. [31]

1861 A FindaGrave memorial reports that Samuel Weigle died in 1861. Samuel Weigle was buried at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, York County, Pennsylvania. He was born in 1785 in United States of America. [32]

1864 Samuel Weigle (1786 - 1864) a veteran of the War of 1812, was buried at Mt. Olivet cemetery, Hanover, Pennsylvania. [33] [34]
