1697 Martin Scott indentured a Scottish boy named James Haddgard of James Trent and wanted the court to establish the years of indenture. [4]
1699 May 12. Martin Scott, perhaps this one, deed to John Watson, both of Nottingham, Burlington County, yeomen, for a plantation of 400 acres there, above the Falls of Delaware, bought of George Hutcheson May 21, 1695, and 5 acres bought of Thomas Lambert, Joshua Wright and William Emley April 4, 1699. John Wills of Northampton River, Burlington County, yeoman, deed to Martin Scott of the same county, yeoman, for 853 acres, of which 146 ½ in the Second Tenth were bought of Elias ffarr Feb. 23, 1686-87, 240 acres in Eversham Township of Thomas Kendall Feb. 2, 1694-95, and 467 acres were conveyed to grantor by his father Daniel Wills March 20, 1697-98.
