These notes are a place-holder to facilitate research about the parents of Nancy Cochran's mother. Nancy Cochran was an ancestor of Robert Wolfe and her parents are unknown. The children of Nancy Cochran and her husband Isaiah Pickett have many descendants with DNA matches to Robert Wolfe. In addition, those matches are shared DNA matches with many descendants of Benjamin Staton and with descendants of Roland Ware and his wife Temperance. In order to facilitate our research, we show the mother of Nancy Cochran, the wife of Benjamin Staton, and the wife of Roland Ware as siblings. Benjamin Staton and Roland Ware are plausibly in the same generation as the parents of Nancy Cochran, based on the facts known about them. The actual relationship of the Staton, Cochran, and Ware lines to each other is unknown to Robert but the dna evidence suggests a close relationship. These relationships will be changed, as appropriate, when and if the true relationships are discovered. We welcome collaboration about documentation and DNA matches among these families.
