ALLEN, ISHAM Pension application. On Sept. 24, 1823, in Hanover County, Virginia, Isham Allen of said county, aged fifty - nine, declares that he enlisted for eighteen months in October, 1779, in Richmond, in the company of Captain Morgan, in the regiment of Col. Archibald Campbell; that he was at Guilford Court House, Camden, the Siege of Ninety Six, and Eutaw Springs, and was discharged at Salisbury, North Carolina, in 1781. On April 30th, 1839, in Boone County, Kentucky, Elizabeth Allen of said County, declared that she was the widow of Isham Allen, who died October 24, 1834; that she was married to Isham Allen on March 22, 1792, by Parson John Blair of Richmond, Virginia, that their children were :

Wm. James Allen born Dec. 23, 1821Isham Allen of Hanover County, Virginia, private in the company of Capt. Morgan, regiment of Col. Campbell Virginia Line for eighteen months, was placed on the Pension rolls, September 24th, 1823, under Acts of 1818 and 1820. He was transferred to Kentucky Pension roll under Act of 1838.
1880 J.W. Allen advanced money to Isham Allen. [5]
