Deaths in Our Community Recorded Here. Mrs. Charlotte White, relict of Hiram M. White died on Sunday at 5 a. m., at the home of David L. and Miss Kate Greenawalt whose aunt she was, on east Queen street aged 82 years. She was born August 24, 1826, in this place.
Mrs. White had been in ill health for four or five years and for fully a month past her demise was looked for. Mrs. White's maiden name was Greenawalt, a daughter of Godfrey, one of our county's oldest families, and she was the last of her immediate family. She was married to H. M. White May 9, 1860, and lived with him here until his death in February 1903. One daughter Mary preceded her parents to eternity. Mrs. White was a very good woman, charitably inclined, religious, domestic in taste. She was a devout member of Zion Reformed church since 1842 when she was confirmed by Rev. W. W. Bonnell and for 40 years taught in the Sunday school. Numerous nephews and nieces are her closest surviving relatives.
Funeral Wednesday at 10 a. m., interment in Cedar Grove cemetery.
