1968 Louis Joseph Bolas died on September 18 and was buried at Saint Joseph Cemetery and Mausoleum, Batavia, Genesee County, New York. [1] An obituary states, [2]

Louis Joseph Bolas. 56, Stegman Rd., town of Batavia, died at Genesee Memorial Hospital at 6:30 this morning (Sept. 18, 1968) after being a patient for five days.
Mr. Bolas was born in Buffalo July 4, 1912, son of Catherine Bizek Bolas with whom he resided and the late Joseph Bolas. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator with operating engineers in Rochester. He was a member of Holy Name of Mary Church in East Pembroke, Batavia Moose Lodge, East Pembroke Exempt Firemen and the International Union of Operating Engineers.
Surviving with his mother are four brothers, Chester of North Tonawanda, Leo of 3851 Rose Rd., Edward of Lovers Lane Rd., Corfu, and Clarence of Klamath Falls, Ore.; two sisters Mrs. Leonard (Mary) Schneider of San Pedro, Calif., and Mrs. William (Frances) Konieczko of Lockport Rd., Oakfield, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 9:30 a. m. from the Gilmartin Funeral Home and at 10 at Holy Name of Mary Church, East Pembroke. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p. m. Thursday and Friday. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
