HENRY MISER 4/7, son of Johann Adam Meiser 3/9 (Johann Michael Meiser 2/2, Johan Jurg Meisser 1/1) and Mary Eckhart, was born November 23, 1792, in Northumberland Coun- ty, Pennsylvania and died in Wayne County, Ohio, on April 13, 1872. The dates can be found on a tombstone in Longenecker Church Cemetery near Winesburg, Ohio.
He was first married to Barbara Husselman, daughter of George Husselman, the Hes- sian soldier who joined the Colonial Army after his capture at Trenton. The marriage took place prior to 1820 as in this year's census he was listed with two male children under ten years of age.
Henry's second marriage was to Catharine Moomaw on March 10, 1825, in Wayne County, Ohio. (Catharine's sister, Nancy, married Henry's brother, Philip Miser 4/10.) Henry lived his entire adult life in Wayne County, Ohio, after taking over the original Meiser homestead upon the death of his father ca. 1824.
