Miss Mary Beulah Pickett, retired government clerk, died late Saturday in a local hospital following an illness of several years. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p. m., Monday, in Westview Peachtree chapel. The Rev. H. C. Holland will officiate. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery. Miss Picket was born in Texarkana, Texas, but spent most of her lifetime in Atlanta. She retired 10 years ago as clerk in the office of the Bureau of Internal Revenue. In recent years she had lived at 1117 N. Highland Ave., N. E., with a sister and brother. Surviving are two sisters, Miss Kate Pickett, Atlanta, and Mrs. W. P. Stone, Palmer, Tenn., and five brothers, George M. and J. L. Pickett of Atlanta; Dr. J. Wray Pickett, Cedartown, and Dr. Carl Pickett, Daytona Beach, Fla. A late brother, B. F. Pickett, lived in Newnan.
1957 Iola Pickett Stone died on March 14, at age 88 in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee. She was born on September 29, 1868 in USA, daughter of M Thomas Pickett and Margaret Lewis. [16]
