1765 On 8th of the 8th Mo, James Schooley was conceded permission to marry according to records of the Kingwood Friends Meetings. His bride's name was not recorded. [3] [4] [5]

1767 James Schooley died on March 15 in Newton, Sussex County, New Jersey. James Schooley was born on May 22, 1732 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, child of Avis Schooley. [6] [7]

1767 The will of James Schooley, of Newton, Sussex County, New Jersey, was dated April 20. Int. Administrator: Samuel Schooley, of said place. Fellowbondsman: Josiah Dyer, of Hardwick, said Co. Witness: John Pettit. 1767, April 20. Renunciation by Margaret Schooley, widow of James. Witnesses: Benjamin Schooley and Josiah Dyer, Jr. 1767, April 13.
