1810 Daniel Bragunier lived in Elizabeth Hundred, Washington County, Maryland in a household with males: 3 (Under 10) and 1 (26 thru 44); and females: 2 (Under 10) and 1 (26 thru 44). [1]
1813 Maryland Chancery Court records refer to Daniel and Barbara Braggonier and the estate of Christian Rohrer [2]:
1813/08/29 4228: Daniel Rhorer, Daniel Bragonier, and Barbara Bragonier vs. Christian Rhorer, Samuel Rhorer, Jacob Troxell, and Maria Troxell. WA. Petition to sell land.

1814 The first account of the estate of Christian Rohrer by Samuel Rohrer listed advance payments to Christian Rohrer, Daniel Bragonier, Abraham Troxell, Jacob Rohrer, Ann Miller, and Daniel Rohrer. [3]
1814 Several heirs of the estate of Christian Rohrer signed releases which were recorded in Washington County probate records: Jacob Rohrer, Daniel Rohrer, Abraham Traxell, Daniel Bragonier (signed June 14, 1814), Amy Miksall (formerly Amy Miller), and Christian Rohrer. [4]
Many researchers report that this Daniel Bragonier died in 1840 and that his last child was born in 1812. The following estate sale dated October 25, 1814 is consistent with no children being born after 1812. We seek further evidence about this family.

A Bragunier genealogy reports [6]:
(7) DANIEL BRACUNIER was born in 1777 on "Long Hickory" and lived in Hagerstown in later life. He and his wife Barbara were members of the First Reformed Church (Zion). Barbara was living in 1808 as Land records at Hagerstown Book A page 1037 show she acknowledged a land deed. The Zion church records yield the following:
Children
i. Samuel born Apr. 5, 1801 bap. Aug. 30, 1801.
ii. Susana born Dec. 31, 1802 bap. Sept. 4, 1803.
iii. Daniel born Dec. 11, 1804 bap. July 22, 1805.The date of birth of Daniel (7) and the date of death 1840 are obtained from records prepared by Charles William Bragunier mentioned earlier. Daniel is stated to have married a twin and was the father of seven children: 5 boys and a girls, all whom lived to be men and women but none alive today (1890 ?) except our father and Uncle Samuel, who is now living at Dayton, Ohio. Wm. Bragunier and his twin brother born Hagerstown, Washington County, Maryland Feb. 19, 1812. This would account for four boys and one girl. It leaves one boy and one girl probably born between 1805 and 1812 unaccounted.
Children continued
iv. Girl -- no record.
v. Boy -- no record.
17 vi. Wm. (twin) born Feb. 19, 1812.
vii. Boy (twin) born Feb. 19, 1812.
The German Reformed Church of Clear Spring, Maryland has a marriage record -- Emanuel Tice to Susan Bragonier both of Washington County Feb. 30, 1840. This could be Daniel 's daughter Susana born Dec. 31, 1802.
A Geneanet tree reports [7]:
1777 Daniel Bracunier Brockunier Procunier, son of Peter Brockunier Procunier and Margaretha Prakunier Procunier, was born in 1777 in Hager's Long Hickory, Frederick MD (Frederick), Maryland.
Daniel Bracunier Brockunier Procunier was married to Barbara Rohrer. They had a child named Samuel Procunier.
1840 Daniel Bracunier Brockunier Procunier died in 1840 in Haggerstown, Washington, Maryland.
The ages reported in two census records of Daniel Bragonier are not consistent with a birthdate of 1777, suggesting that they are for different men named Daniel Bragonier.
1820 Daniel Baggamie lived in Election District 3, Washington County, Maryland in a household with males: 1 (Under 10), 2 (10 thru 15), 1 (16 thru 25), and 1 (45 and over); and females: 1 (Under 10), 2 (10 thru 15), and 1 (16 thru 25). [8]
1840 Daniel Brogunier lived in Hagerstown, Washington County, Maryland in a household with males: 1 (5 thru 9), 1 (15 thru 19), and 1 (40 thru 49); and females: 1 (5 thru 9) and 1 (15 thru 19). [9]
