Notes for Anna Elizabeth Hoffman

1762 Anna Elizabeth Hoffman, daughter of Henry Hoffman, and John Henry Strack, son of John Jost Sttrack, were married on August 6, at the Millbach Reformed church in Lebanon County. [1]

1770 Henry Strack born in August, son of Henry and Anna Elizabeth Strack, was baptized on October 28, at the Millbach Reformed church in Lebanon County, with sponsors Adam and Barbara Hoffman. [2] [3]

1775 Adam Hoffman and wife Barbara sold part of the tract inherited from father Henry Hoffman, to Henry Achey on February 28. Witnessed by Henrich Strack and Philip Marstellar. [4]

1774 The 365 acre tract of Henry Hoffman was resurveyed in 1774 by Henry Ackey and Henry Strack. [5]

1776 On 1 June, Resurvey of 365 acres in Heidelberg Twp, Lancaster County by virtue of a warrant of resurvey dated May 28. [6] Adjoining land was owned by Adam Hoffman, Sebastian Rudy [7], Nicholas Tinges, Henry Strack, Nicholas Miller, Jacob Cryder [8], and Jacob Spangler.

1846 Son Henry Strock [perhaps], spouse of Susannah Strock, died aged 75y 7m 27d (corresponding to birth on July 31, 1770) on March 27 in Pennsylvania. [9] The computed birth date agrees to within 1 day of the 1770 birth record dated (ambiguously) in August.

1846 Henry Strock Senior died intestate of March 27. His children petitioned the court to partition the land from the estate. The widow, 11 children and daughter's spouses were named, along with adjacent landowners. [10] [11] [12] [13]

Several descendants were buried at Salem Lutheran Church and their grave markers were transcribed. [14] [15]
