1841 Moses Ivins had land in Upper Freehold from the estate of Anthony Woodward (perhaps Moses' grandfather).

1850 Moses Ivins (age 61, born in New Jersey) lived in Plumsted, Ocean, New Jersey, with Samuel Ivins (age 26), Margarett Hollingshead (age 22), Charles Hollingshead (age 1), Lydia Allen Hollingshead (age 6), Joseph Camp (age 18), Tice Measure (age 23), Thomas Bryant (age 23), Mary Hornor (age 22), Pheby Hornor (age 5), Edith Hornor (age 0). Moses Ivins's father was born in and mother was born in . Moses Ivins's Occupation was farmer. [3]

1850 Moses Ivins of Pine Plains had a saw mill Prospertown; listed in the Burlingon Directory. [4]

1860 Moses Ivins (age 72, born in New Jersey) lived in Plumsted, Ocean, New Jersey, with Elizabeth Boger (age 30), Naomi Boger (age 11), Dennis Ragener (age 25). [5]

1870 Moses Ivins (age 82, born in New Jersey), miller, estate valued at $30,000, lived at Upper Freehold, Monmouth, New Jersey, with Kesiah Haley (age 50), Wm Haley (age 51), Emily Haley (age 18), Wm Haley (age 15), Joseph Haley (age 10), Margaret Haley (age 6). [6]

1876 Moses Ivins (widowed, born at Burlington, New Jersey) died on April 29 at age 88 at Prospertown, New Jersey. [7]

On Saturday, May 31, 1879.
at the Cross Roads, in the Village of Prospertown, near the late residence of Moses Ivins, deceased, in the township of Upper Freehold, in tbe county of Monmouth. and state of New Hersey, between the hours of 12P.M. and 5. P. M., on said day, all those certain tracts of land situate, lying and being in tha county of Monmouth, State aforesaid, hereinafter more particularly described. viz.:

First All those certain tracts of land situate, lying and being in tbe counties or Monmouth and Ocean, in the State aforesaid, called and known as the Prospertown Mill Property, on which tbe said Moses Ivins formerly lived (as described in mortrage), bounded by lands of Joseph S. Nutt on the north, by lands or Samuel Coward on tbe east, by lands of Aaron Imley and others, on the south, and on the west by lands of Richard Stoutbeing the same recently owned by Garret Wyckoff, containing about one hundred acres more or less, and to all which said lands the said Moses Ivins claims right by virtue of a deed from Israel Ivins and wife, dated second day of January, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and twenty one, and recorded in the Clerk's office of Monmouth. in book C, 2 of deeds, page 629, 30, 31, and to which for a more particular description reference may be had and will more at large appear.

Second All that tract of land situate in the township of Jackson, in the county of Ocean, and the township of Upper Freehold, in the county of Monmouth, a little above Prospertown, on the main road leading from Monmouth Court House to Mount Holly, and near the tavern commonly called " Lyell's Mill Site," containing forty acres, more or less. Being the same premises which were conveyed to the said Moses Ivins by Gilbert Hendrickson and wife, by deed dated September 4,1820, and recorded in the Monmouth county clerk's office, in book C, 2 of deeds, pages 628, &c, to which deed or the said record reference is made for a full and particular description cf the said premises.

Third All that certain tract of land and premise that Moses Ivins bought of Anthony Woodward, by deed dated the first day of June, in the year or our Lord one thousand eight bandred and thirty one, and sitnate in the county of Monmouth aforesaid, beginning at a stone planted in the road leading from Prospertown to the Methodist meeting house, the southwesterly corner of the farm formerly Richard Smith's ; thence 1. south, twenty two degrees and twelve minntes east, forty seven chains and sixteen links to a stone corner of -- land ; thence 2, north sixty three degrees and forty five minutes east, ten chains and seventy live links; thence 3, north nine degrees west, twenty four chains and ten links to a stone corner of Moses Ivins' land ; thence 4 east, twelve chains aad seventy five links ; thence 5 north four degrees east, thirty six chains and eighty six links: thence 6, north, twenty five degrees west four chains aad twenty five links to Richard Smith's southeasterly corner in Jonathan Coward's line; thence 7, along aaid Smith's south line south, fifty six degrees west, forty four chains and eighty links to the place of beginning, containing one hundred and thirty five acre and sixteen hundredth of an acre. But after deducting eleven acres and three quarters hereto for sold by Mary Rouze to Israel Ivins, as will appear by her deed, recorded In tbe clerk's office or the county of Monmouth, in book X of deads, page 99 and 100 will appear, which is hereby accepted.

Seized as the property of Samuel W. Ivins, Joseph B. Hollinshead, Margaret Hollinshead his wife, Samuel W. Ivins and Joseph H. Hollinshead, executor of Moses Ivins, deceased, and taken in execution at the suit or Epbraim P. Emson, complainant, and to be sold by THOMAS W, MIDDLETON, Master in Chancery.
