The parents of this Matilda Winebrenner are uncertain. We show Peter Winebrenner as her father, as does the 1925 Findagrave memorial. Court documents cited in our notes for Peter Winebrenner suggest that Peter was the father of this Matilda, spouse of Dale and Laswell. The 1925 death certificate for Matilda names her father as William Winebrenner. William, brother of Peter and John, did not have a daughter Matilda listed in census records. Peter and William had a brother John who also had a daughter Matilda. Other researchers report Matilda, daughter of John, as a spouse of Josline. John's oldest child was David, born about 1849, according to census records.
