Other documents naming David Winebrenner in Montgomery County, Ohio are in the notes for David [3], son of Christian, whose birth in 1803 is a better match to those documents than is David, son of Sebastian, who was likely already age 21 when Peter Becker wrote his will in 1817.

Maxwell guardian of Gina & Phebe Maxwell and to Mary June Baldwin and James Taylor, Geo Taylor and Charles Taylor. Several receipts (image 511) named John B. Huber administrator for Christian Winebrenner and one document (image 508) mentioned John B. Huber deceased. [20]

1872 The will of David Winebrenner was dated on June 27 in Philadelphia. A codicil was dated March 27, 1875. The will was in probate on September 28, 1876. The will named niece Maria H. Huber [perhaps a relative of John B. Huber, named in the 1862 estate of brother Christian]. The residual was to be divided among (the fractions don't add up?) son David S Winebrenner (1/5), daughter Caroline H. Edgerton (1/5), deceased son Henry C Winebrenner children Matilda and John Henry Winebrenner (1/5?), daughter Elizabeth S. Thompson and her daughter (only child) Elizabeth D. Thompson (1/5), Mary Winebrenner widow of deceased son Henry C. Winebrenner (1/5), grandson Allen W. Armstrong (1/10). Son David S. Winebrenner and friend David Faust were named as executors. A codicil to the will mentioned the wife of grandson Allen W. Armstrong. [25]
