1826 At the May Orphans Court in Burlington County, Rachel Stokes, Israel Stokes, and Charles Stokes, administrators of John L Stokes,deceased, reported an audit of the estate. [1]
A researcher reports: John Lancaster Stokes and wife Rachel Burr (daughter of Caleb Burr) were the parents of Henry Stokes. John L Stokies was a son of David Stokes (1751-1830) and Ann Lancster (daughter of John Lancaster and Elizabeth Barlow). [2]
