OBITUARY. Departed this life on 30th ultimo, Captain, DAVID MARLL, of this place, in the 46th year of age He was the owner and master of the Schooner Rebecca, from whose deck he was accidentally precipitated into the Chesapeake Bay and drowned. By this mournful event an affectionate wife and an interesting family of children have been deprived of a husband and father, who was unspeakably dear to them. He had relatives and friends who will long regret his death; but it is in his own immediate family, -where his affection and virtues were best known, -that his loss will be most sensibly felt, and most of mind deeply deplored. Endowed with a happy temper and great goodness of heart, he sought, on every occasion, to promote the happiness of those around him by disinterested acts of friendship, and by a faithful and cheerful intercourse. He was proverbially honest, discreet, and industrious, and died at peace with all men.
