Mrs. Lillie Bell Windham, 62, 809 Fourteenth street, Phenix City, died at 1:20 p.m. Friday Phenix Memorial hospital. She had been sick for three months.
She was born in Phenix City, Nov. 5, 1889, and had lived there all her life. She was a member of Trinity Methodist church. Her parents were the late John H. and Mary Jane Golden- Cochran.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Basil Wemes, New York, and Mrs. H. E. Shadrick, Atlanta; three sons, Gordon Windham, Columbus, Eric Windham, Miami, and C. J. Windham, with the Army in Japan; a sister, Mrs. G. E. Gannon, Jacksonville; eleven grandchildren, and three nieces.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Colonial chapel.
1969 A FindaGrave memorial reports that [son] Cochran Golden Windham died on January 7. Cochran Golden Windham was buried at Lakeview Memory Gardens, Phenix City, Russell County, Alabama. Cochran Golden Windham was born on December 6, 1908 in Phenix City, Russell County, Alabama. [9]
