1860 George W Ivins (age 26), teacher, and Mary E (age 28) lived in New Hanover Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey with daughter Mary E (age 11 months). [2]

1864 Mary Elizabeth Ivins, spouse of George Washington Ivins, died on April 8 in Burlington County, New Jersey. She was born on December 12, 1831 in Minisink, Orange County, New York, daughter of John Mapes Carpenter and Permelia Carpenter. [3]

1865 George W Ivins and Mary Emma Scott, daughter of Thomas and Sarah, were married on January 8, in Trenton, New Jersey. [4]

1870 Geo Ivins (age 35, born in New Jersey) lived in Monroe, Middlesex County, New Jersey, at post office Prospect Plains, with Mary E Ivins (age 26), Mary P Ivins (age 11), Geo W Ivins (age 4), and Mahlon R Ivins (age 2). [5]

1902 The will of George W. Ivins was recorded on August 15. George Ivins, of Propsertown, Jackson Twp, Ocean County, New Jersey, dated his will on October 10, 1899. The will named brother Barclay and sons George W Ivins Jr and Mahlon K Ivins. Heirs Emma H Lingerman and Lydia D Ivins were witnesses and had to renounce their rights as heirs. Other heirs named were Mary P Anderson, George W Ivins, Mahlon K Ivins, Carrie D Buckalow, Daniel W. Ivins, Henry C? Ivins, and Lafayette Ivins. [12]

1916 Mary Emma Ivins, spouse of George Washington Ivins, died on June 15 in Colliers Mills, Ocean County, New Jersey. She was born on February 21, 1843 in Vincentown, Burlington County, New Jersey, daughter of Andrew Hunter Scott and Sarah Leeds Scott. [13]

1925 George Washington Ivins Jr, spouse of Mary A Ivins, died on June 3 in New Egypt, Ocean County, New Jersey. He was born on June 1, 1866 in Lawrenceville, Mercer County, New Jersey, son of George Washington Ivins and Mary Emma Ivins. [14]
