1865 Aurelia Rivir, wife of Christian Rivir, died. Aurelia is buried at Sanford cemetery south of Burr Oak in Noble County Indiana with inscription "Aurelia J (w/o C S Rivir) Died Aug 4, 1865 21Ys 7Ms 12Ds". [14] [15] [16]

Christian Rivir was working with Hannah's first husband, Robert Hardy, on an expansion of the Merriam Christian chapel when scaffolding collapsed killing Hannah's first husband.
1872 Christian S. Rivir was married to widow Hannah (Eyers) Hardee on June 21, by Rev Peter Winebrenner. [25] Another source reports date June 17, 1871. [26]
1874 The home of a Christian Rivir was in northeast section 24 of Noble Township, Noble County [27].
1874 The Green Twp, Noble County, Indiana landowners atlas shows C Rivir in north east section 7 [28], possibly this Christian born 1834 or his uncle born 1810.
1876 Christian S Rivir and wife Hannah purchased land in Noble County, Indiana from Conrad and Sarah Nicodemus.
Christian and Hannah went to Kansas. They left Hannah's two children by Robert Hardy in Indiana with Abraham Ott and other family.
1880 Christian S River (age 44) and wife Hannah B (age 32) and son Coralla V.H. (age 7) lived in Nelson, Cloud County, Kansas where Christian was a farmer. Hannah and her parents were born in Canada, Christian and his parents were born in Pennsylvania, Coralla was born in Indiana. Their household included 2 farm workers and a painter. [29] [30] [31]
Christian and Hannah separated. Hannah went back to Indiana. She lived in South Whitley.
1893 Hannah B. Wert and Joshua Dohmer were married on October 31 in Goshen Twp, Elkhart County, Indiana. [32]
1900 Christian S Rivir (born May 1834) lived in Cloud County, Kansas. He was divorced and was a carpenter who had not worked for 10 months in the last year. [33] [34]
1900 Hannah B Dohner (born in Canada in Mar 1848, married for 7 years), wife, lived in Cleveland Twp, Whitley County, Indiana, in a household with Joshua Dohner (age 67). Hannah B Dohner's parents were both born in Canada. [35]

1910 C S Rivir (age 75, born in Pennsylvania, widowed) lived in Concordia Ward 3, Cloud County, Kansas. C S Rivir's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. C S Rivir could read and write. [36]
Mrs. Louisa Morgan, age 49 years and 8 months, died at her home, 1005 George street at 10 o'clock to-day of dropsy after an illness of eight months. Funeral services will be held at half past 2 to-morrow afternoon, at the church of the Latter Day Saints, Ninth and Santa Fe, burial in Oak Hill cemetery. Mrs. Morgan's maiden name was Shupert. She was born in Benton, Ind.. and came to Atchison 85 years ago. Her third marriage was to John A. Morgan, seven years ago. He with four sons and three daughters by former marriages survive her. They are Oliver River, Alonzo, Charles and Will Smith, Mrs. Hugh Cummings, Mrs. John Bowman and Mrs. Jean Randall, all of Atchison. Mrs. Charles Shupert, of Atchison; Mrs. Rose Coffman, of Fairfield, Ia., and Mrs. Charles Paylor, of Bliss, Okla., are sisters and are here for the funeral. A brother, James Shupert, lives at San Angelo, Texas. Mrs. Morgan was a kindly woman who bore her long sickness with patient fortitude.
1915 CS River (age 81) and C V River (age 45) lived at Cloud County, Kansas. [38]
1919 Christian S Rivir died on December 11 and was buried at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Cloud County, Kansas. [39] [40]
Dies Result of Fall.
L. S. Rivir, 86, for 40 years a resident of Cloud county died at the home of his son, C. V. Rivir, near Ames, of injuries received when he fell on the icy pavement. He was born in Pennsylvania in 1833.
He lived in Concordia for 30 years. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 p. m from the C. V. Rivir home near Ames. Rev. Coats, of Rice, will officiate.
Interment will be made in Walnut Grove cemetery.
1924 Hannah Dohner, widowed, daughter of Henry Eyer and Mary Eyer, spouse of Josiah Dohner, died on June 29, 1924, at age 76, in Cleveland Twp, Whitley County, Indiana. Hannah Dohner was born on March 14, 1848, in New London Canada. [43]

1953 Melissa J Bauchman, widowed, died on March 6, at age 91, in West Lake, Noble County, Indiana. She was born on April 19, 1861, in Noble County, Indiana, daughter of Christian River and Jane River. [46]

Oliver Smith's father was born in New York and his mother was born in Indiana. [48]
1899 Oliver M. Rivers (age 32) and Margaret A Tibles (age 26) were married on November 15 in Lucas County, Iowa. Oliver M. Rivers, child of Christian Rider and Louisa Shepert, was born about 1867. [49]

1916 Dorothy River got smallpox.

River, living at 317 North Fourth street, contracted smallpox from a mail order bed blanket, as stated in yesterday's Champion. The case is mild and the little patient is getting along as well as could be expected.
1917 Bliss Rivers had a broken leg.

[54]A boy named Bliss Rivers sustained a broken leg at noon today when he and his bicycle were struck by the Killarney automobile, at the dangerous crossing, Sixth and Spring streets. He was traveling east and the car was going south. The car was traveling slowly, and was being driven by Miss Margery Killarney. The boy was at once taken to the Atchison hospital. The fracture is above the ankle, and is not serious. The boy is a son of O. M. River, a blind man living at 307 North Fourteenth.

River, who is blind, and is being cared for by relatives at Ponca City, Oklahoma. Ground for divorce was extreme cruelty, the testimony convincing the court that River threw his wife around considerably whenever he could get his hands on her.
River formerly was a common figure on Commercial street, where he sold pencils and chewing gum several years.

1937 Oliver Morton Rivers, spouse of Margaret Anzentta Rivers, died on May 19 in Charleston, Coles County, Illinois. He was born on February 10, 1867. [59]

Oliver Rivers, 70 years old Charleston citizen, died at his home, 509 N Eleventh street at noon yesterday following an illness of four days. Surviving are: the widow, Mrs. Lilian Rivers, five step-children, two brothers Leon Rivers of Atchison, Kansas, and William Rivers of Coffeyville, Kansas. Two sisters, Mrs. John Bowman of Kansas State and Mrs. Paul Burosari of Chicago, also survive. The body was removed to the Harper funeral home to await funeral services which will be held there at 2:00 o'clock tomorrow afternoon with the Rev. C.C. Breen in charge.

Mrs. Margaret Anzanetta River, 77, died early Friday evening at the Woodlawn Convalescent Home after and extended illness. She had been a resident of the home for the past two years.
Mrs. River was born Jan. 31, 1880 at Chariton, la. a daughter of John H. and Cynthia Jane Tibbels and one of seven children. On Nov. 15, 1899 she was marpried to Oliver Morton River. The couple remained in Iowa until 1902 when they moved to this area. Mr. River, a railroad employe for many years, died in 1937.
Mrs. River was a member of the Christian church for more than 30 years. She was especially artistic in her favorite avocation, needlework, a hobby she continued until her vision failed in later years.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Lee (Dorothy) Edwinson, Atchison, and Mrs. M. C. (Ruth) Bingham of Topeka; one son, Elvin Bliss River, Phoenix, Ariz.; one brother, Frank J. Tibbels of Denver; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p. m., Wednesday, Stanton chapel, the Revs. Harold Roberts and Gilbert Hedrick, co - officiants.
