1947 Frederick Kelly and Dorothy Oldfield were married on June 28 in Toronto. [1]

Rev. J. M. Finlay officiated at the wedding today in Carlton Street United church of Dorothy Gladys Oldfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Oldfield, and Frederick Miles Kelly, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Kelly of Port Hope. The bride wore a gown of chenille embroidered organdy with a long veil, and carried yellow roses. Her attendants were Eva McLean, Margaret Boos and Eleanor Kelly, wearing yellow. blue and pink eyelet embroidered voile with matching circlets and muffs of sweet peas and roses. Charles Kelly was best man. The bride's mother received in pale blue crepe with corsage of pink roses, assisted by the groom's mother in printed gray silk with similar corsage.
