Research Notes:
The notes above cite and agree with the Good article by Jane Evans Best. Census records suggest a birthdate 1775-1780. A Mennonite card file record reports the birthyear 1772. We report his birth circa 1775 as a compromise.
One Mennonite card file for Christian Good (1772 - 4 Dec 1843) with children as shown in the notes above names his parents as John Good and Barbara Bauman. [17]
Another Mennonite card file reports Christian Good (22 Jun 1799 - 11 Mar 1884) as the son of Samuel Good. [18] This Christian (22 Jun 1799 - 11 Mar 1884) is reported by Findagrave to be a son of Christian Good. [19] We suspect that Christian (22 Jun 1799 - 11 Mar 1884) was the eldest son of Christian and Barbara of the notes above.
