1772 Joseph Horst was born on January 18, son of Joseph and Margaret Horst. [1] [2]

1773 Magdalena Good, daughter of Christian Good and Barbara Brandt, was born on May 5. [3] [4]

1813 On March 6, a deed named Joseph Horst and wife Magdalena (late Good); David Martin and wife Mary (late Good) of Salisbury Twp, Lancaster County; Peter Burket and wife Barbara (late Good) of Caernarvon Twp; John Burket and wife Elizabeth (late Good); Hesther Good and Catharine Good of Brecknock Twp; being the children and heirs named in the will of Christian Good late of Brecknock Twp, Lancaster County. They acknowledged payment from the estate and released Christian Good and John Burket, executors, from further claims. [6]

1838 Esther Good, single woman, dated her will in Brecknock Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania on August 5, 1838. The will was proved on February 25, 1939. The will named widow Nancy Good, late Nancy Zerbe, and sister Catharine Good. Several parcels of land, owned as tenants in common by Esther Good and Catharine Good, purchased from brother Christian Good, were bequeathed to Catharine Good. After the decease of Catharine, the land was to be bequeathed to brother Christian Good; sister Magdalena Hurst, wife of Joseph Hurst; and Elizabeth Burkhart, wife of John Burkhart. Christian Burkhart (son of John) and Samuel Good (son-in-law of brother Christian) were named executors. [7] [8]

1840 Magdalena Horst, spouse of Joseph Horst, died on November 30 in East Earl, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She was born on May 5, 1773 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, daughter of Christian Good. She died at age 67y 6m 5d and was buried at Lichty Cemetery, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. "Hier ruhet Magdelena Horst Eheweib von Joseph Horst" [9] [10] [11] [12]

1850 Joseph Horst Sr (age 78) and Joseph Horst Jr (age 42) and Elizabeth Horst (age 38) lived in Caernavon Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [13]

1852 Joseph Horst, spouse of Magdalena Horst, died on June 15 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He was born on January 18, 1772 in West Earl Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Lichty Cemetery, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [14] [15] [16] [17]

1853 Jacob Horst received land from the other heirs of Joseph Horst. [18] Joseph Horst's will had date October 13, 1845. The will bequeathed the plantation in East Earl township to son Jacob Horst. The heirs of Joseph Horst were named to be: Samuel Good guardian, Magdalena Good, John Shirk and Maria his wife, Christian Horst by his attorney, Joseph Horst, David Horst, and Elizabeth Horst (being with the above named Jacob Horst, all the sons and daughters and legatees named in the will of said Joseph Horst, senior deceased). The heirs were also named as

Children of Barbara Horst Good and Joseph Good deceased of Brecknock Twp. The children Samuel (guardian), Magdalene, Maria and Joseph were represented by their guardian Samuel Good

John Shirk of Caernarvon Twp and wife Maria Horst Shirk

Christian Horst of Waterloo, Canada represented by attorney Daniel Gord

Daniel Good of Brecknock Twp by letter of attorney
