Albert Winebrenner's father was born in Ohio and his mother was born in Indiana. Albert Winebrenner could not read or write. Albert Winebrenner was a farmer. Winebrenner Albert R was the son of James and Elizabeth Winebrenner, born near Albion Dec. 6, 1874 and died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Homer Perry at Colton, Calif. on Feb. 2, 1944, being 69 years, 1 month and 26 days of age. He was one of 7 children in the family, all of whom with the parents have died except one sister and two brothers: Mrs. Harley Haney and Harvey and Curtis Winebrenner. He was married to Etta Strouse who with 7 children survive. They are Mrs. Homer Perry, Colton, Calif., Mrs. Tonda Keister and Mrs. Thurlo Keister, both of near Merriam, Mrs. Leslie Grawcock of near LaOtto, and Norris, Alvin and Walter, all of near Albion. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Services at Christian Chapel. Burial, Christian Chapel Cemetery.
