1796 Catharina Hossler, daughter of Abraham and Christina Hossler, was born on November 23. Apelonia and Georg Bortner were sponsors. [1]

1804 Christina Hassler, widow of Abraham Hassler deceased, applied to appoint Dewalt Schneider guardian over the persons and estates of Christina, Hassler (age 12), George Hassler (age 10), Catharina Hassler (age 8), and John Hassler (age 9), all minor children of the deceased. Elizabeth Hassler (age 16) prayed that Dewalt Schneider be named her guardian. The court agreed. Dated June 26. [2]

1850 Peter Garverick (age 59, born in Pennsylvania) lived in North Bloomfield Twp, Morrow County, Ohio, in a household with Catharine Garwick (55), John Garwick (30), Levi Garwick (23), Henry Garwick (15), Louisa Garwick (19), and Susan Garwick (17). [3]

1864 Catherine Garberich, spouse of Peter Garberich, died on March 22 in Morrow County, Ohio. She was born on December 22, 1796 in Steltz, York County, Pennsylvania, daughter of Christena Hosler. [4]

1884 Peter Garberich, spouse of Catherine Garberich, died on August 12 in Morrow County, Ohio. He was born on February 24, 1791 in Shrewsbury, York County, Pennsylvania, son of John Adam Gerberich and Anna Margaretha Gerberich. [5]

1870 Son George H Gerberich (age 52, born in Pennsylvania) lived in North Bloomfield Twp, Morrow County, Ohio, in a household with Lavina Garverick (22), Frances A Garverick, Christinie Garverick (18), Elizabeth Garverick (15), Levi Garverick (6), and John Garverick (50). George H Gerberich was a farmer. [6]

1905 George H Gerberich, spouse of Maria Garverick, died on July 22 in Crestline, Crawford County, Ohio. He was born on February 4, 1818 in Shrewsbury, York County, Pennsylvania, son of Peter Garberich and Catherine Garberich. [7]

1917 Henry H. Garverick, spouse of Elizabeth Garverick, died on September 27 in Crawford County, Ohio. He was born on May 3, 1835 in Morrow County, Ohio, son of Peter Garberich and Catherine Garberich. [8]

The birth and baptism of Catharine, daughter of Abraham and Catharine Hassler, might be listed in the Records of Swamp Reformed (Little Cocalico) Church, West Cocalico Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania (not seen).

A biosketch of a son reports "Peter Garverick, was born and raised, in Pennsylvania, as was also his mother, whose maiden name was Catharine Hosler; his father was a farmer, although he worked at the carpenter trade part of the time; emigrated to what is now Morrow Co., Ohio, in 1834, and settled on heavily,wooded land, and now has the satisfaction of looking back over a well spent and useful life. " [10]
