1850 Joshua Schuman (age 29, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Bethel Twp, Clark County, Ohio, in a household with Julia Shuman (29), Sarah M Shuman (0), and Sarah Kniseley (14). [11]

1895 Joshua Schuman, spouse of Julia Schuman, died on July 22. He was born on January 21, 1821 in York County, Pennsylvania. [12]

1888 William W. Schuman, spouse of Mary Ann Schuman, died on February 4. He was born on November 23, 1822 in York County, Pennsylvania. [15]

1827 Lydia Schuhman was baptized on December 2, 1827 with sponsors Samuel Wildasen, and Lydia Walker. Lydia Schuhman was born on September 14, 1827, child of Henry Schuhman and Judith Schuhman. [16] [17]

1854 Abraham Myers and Margaret Schuman were married on December 5 in Clark County, Ohio. [18]

1908 Margurette Meyers, widower, died on December 8, at age 79 in Columbia City, Whitley County, Indiana. She was born on December 5, 1829 in Whitley County, Indiana, daughter of Joshua Schuman [Joshua is the name of her brother] and Judia Wildeson. [19] [20]

1860 Martha Fromfelter (age 30, born in Pennsylvania) lived in North Newton, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Sol Fromfelter (33), John Fromfelter (9), Ira Fromfelter, Lucy E Fromfelter (2), and Margt J Fromfelter (6/12). [21]

FROWNFELTER. Tuesday morning Mrs. Martha Frownfelter died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Floyd, near Williams' Grove, aged about 75 years. Mrs. Frownfelter for many years lived in Mechanicsburg where she was well known and highly esteemed. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church for many years. Several children survive. Funeral was held today.

DEATHS. Mrs. Martha Frownfelter. Tuesday morning, May 15, Mrs. Martha Frownfelter died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Floyd, near Williams' Grove, aged about 75 years. The deceased had been in ill health for some time and her death was not unexpected. Mrs. Frownfelter for many years lived in Mechanicsburg, where she was well known and highly esteemed. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for many years. Several children survive.

The funeral was held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Services at her late home, conducted by Rev. E. D. Weigle. Interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery, near Churchtown.


1926 Mary Jane Schuh, married, daughter of Joshua Schuman and Julia Schuman, spouse of J. W. Schuh, died on January 18, 1926, at age 70, in Richland Twp, Whitley County, Indiana. Mary Jane Schuh was born on September 30, 1855, in Ohio. [24]

1859 Levi Valentine and Sarah Shuman were married on November 30 in Clark County, Ohio. [25]

1870 Sarah Pastoni (age 36, born in Pennsylvania) lived in East Birmingham, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Jacob Pastoni (40), Theodore Pastoni (18), Jacob Pastoni (15), William Pastoni (13), Amelia Pastoni (12), Michael Pastoni (9), Thomas Pastoni (4), Celie Pastoni (2), and Eliza Shaman (67). Sarah Pastoni's father was born in Yes. Sarah Pastoni's occupation was keeping house. [26]
