Filius Herberti, Herbert
Son of Herbert treasurer and chamberlain to Henry I. Tenant of Abinton Abbey in the early twelfth century. His son Herbert by his wife Sibil Corbet, a former mistress of Henry I and mother of Earl Reginald of Cornwall, had succeeded him by 1166. Also father of the earl's half brother William of Marisco.
