1920 Cecil Harry Wolfe, son of Leona Minnie Lutz and Boyd Evrett Wolfe, was born on September 12 in Iowa City. His mother, Mrs. Leona Biery registered his birth on July 4, 1945. [1]

1930 Cecil Wolfe (age 9, born in Iowa), grandson, lived in Muscatine, Muscatine, Iowa, in a household with C L Lutz (age 54), Delfia Lutz (age 34), and Leona Wolfe (age 25). Cecil Wolfe's father was born in Illinois and his mother was born in Iowa. [2]

Marriage Vows Spoken

Announcement is made today of the marriage of Miss Anne Schmarje, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schmarje, 207 Phillips street, to Cecil H. Wolfe, son of Mrs. Biery. The marriage ceremony was solemnized at the parsonage of the Evangelical and Reformed church Sunday afternoon, with the Rev. F. C. Schmidt reading the single ring service at 2:15 o'clock.

The bridal couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Meyer, the uncle and aunt of the bride. The bride was attired in a black crepe gown with matching accessories.

A reception was held following the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents for 40 guests.

The couple will leave Tuesday for a two week trip to Yellowstone National park and other western points of interest. They will reside in Muscatine.

MUSCATINE,Iowa — Cecil Wolfe,92,of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, Feb.2,2013 at Lutheran Homes in Muscatine.

Following the interment, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Geo.M. Wittich-Lewis Community Room.

Memorials may be directed to Jefferson Elementary School.

Cecil Harry Wolfe was born on Sept. 12, 1920, in Iowa City, the son of Boyd and Leona (Lutz) Wolfe.

On Aug. 25 , 1940, Cecil was united in marriage to Anne Schmarje in Muscatine.

He was a member of Calvary Church.

Cecil owned and operated Skateland Roller Rink for 50 years and taught at Garfield and Jefferson Elementary schools for 38 years.

He enjoyed going on cruises,traveling,reading, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Cecil will be deeply missed by his wife, Anne of Muscatine; four children, Dwight Wolfe and wife, Linda of Kenneth City,Fla., Brian Wolfe and wife, Lori of Muscatine, Cheryl Juehring and husband, Gary of Muscatine, Heidi Anderson and husband, Paul of Muscatine; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and two cousins, Thomas Lutz and Beverly Bell.

He was preceded in death by his parents,step-mother, step-father,his son Dennis in infancy,one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

2013 Anne Margaretha Schmarje Wolfe died on May 5 and was buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Muscatine, Muscatine County, Iowa. Anne Margaretha Schmarje Wolfe was born on July 12, 1922. [14] [15]
