1828 Samuel Brenizer and Elizabeth Goodman were married on March 30, by Rev. Mr. Kay, Harrisburg. [2] [3]
1830 Samuel Brenizer, a Mason, was a clerk in the Surveyor General's office in Harrisburg with salary 2 dollars. [4]
1830 Samuel Brenizer purchased land in Maclaysburg, Harrisburg Borough, Dauphin County from the Trustees of the Harrisburg Academy on August 1. [5]
1832 On March 29 Hugh Bellas recorded a mortgage that he made to Samuel Brenizer on October 16, 1830 for land in Maclaysburg by State Street and an alley. Mortgage Book H1-287. [6]
c 1833 Samuel Brenizer and Henry Alward were the administrators for the estate of James Maginness. Land from the estate was situated in Maclaysburg. [7]
1835 Samuel Brenizer purchased land in Maclaysburg from John Crall. [8]
1840 Samuel Brenizer (age 40-50) lived in Harrisburg North Ward, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. [9]
1860 Samuel Brenizer (age 57) lived in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania working as a clerk. Chas Brenizer age 14 was listed adjacent to him. They lived in a hotel run by Rixxx (spelling unclear). [11]
1869 Samuel Brenizer died in September, of dyspepsia, in Susquehanna, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania at age 72. He was a clerk. [12]
DIED. BRENIZER-0n the 22d instant, Mr. SAMUEL BRENIZER, in his 72d year. The relatives and friends who desire to attend the funeral, will meet at the residence of his son-in-law, Mr. M.B. Montgomery, on Kider street above North, at half-past one o'clock Sunday afternoon.
The death of Mr. Brenizer adds another to the list of old citizens of Harrisburg who have finished their earthly labors and gone from us forever. There are but few loft of those who fifty yeats ago were the active enterprising men of the place. Mr. Breniser leaves behind a large circle of relatives and friends who will long mourn the severance of the ties that so long bound them together. He was a MAN of strong attachments and strong intellect, and enjoyed the respect and confidence of all who knew him.
1909 Mrs Sarah Elezabeth Montgomery died on February 14 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. She was born on November 17, 1829 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, daughter of Saml Brenezer and Mary Goodman. [14]

Maclaysburg was a historic, undeveloped area within what is now Susquehanna Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, just north of the original Harrisburg boundary.
