1792 The will of John Rogers, of Windsor Twp, Middlesex County, New Jersey was dated 19 October. All my negroes that are 21, and the others as they reach the age of 21, to be given their liberty. To Ezekiel Rogers, son of Isaac Rogers, homestead plantation (he to close wall round my burying ground); also, to provide for any of the negroes in their old age. To Robert Rogers (son of brother, Robert Rogers), plantation in Nottingham township, Burlington County. Sister, Mary Rogers, £20. To Sarah Hartupee (daughter of Andrew Hartupee), £25. To Daniel Hartupee (son of Andrew Hartupee), house with 10 acres at Millstone, that was his father's. To William and Charles Hartupee (sons of Andrew Hartupee), remainder of tract at Millstone. To Rachel Vinah and Catherine Hartupee (daughters of Charles Hartupee), house and lot that was their father's at Hightstown. To brothers (living at time of my decease), the residue. Executors Ezekiel and Robert Rogers, N. B. Brother, Amos Rogers, to be first Executor. Witnesses: Isaac Combs, Robert Rogers and Thomas Pryor. Proved Nov. 27, 1793. [5] [6]
1793 John Rogers III, spouse of Rachel Rogers, died in West Windsor Twp, Mercer County, New Jersey. John Rogers III was born in 1722 in Mercer County, New Jersey. [7]
1793 The inventory (valued at £973.14.9) for the estate of John Rogers was made by William Covenhoven and John Flock on November 26. [8]
