1783 Elizabeth, daughter of Henry and Anna Wolf, was born on July 7, 1783. She was baptized on July 27, 1783 at the First Reformed church in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [1] [2] [3]
1800 Adam Rudisilly was taxed as a freeman in Lancaster Borough, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [4] Adam was a sadler and was listed with Melchior Rudisily. [5]
1800 Adam Rudisilly was listed on the septennial census in 1800 in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [6]
1801 Adam Rudisilly, sadler, was taxed in Lancaster Borough, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [7]
1805 Adam was named in the will or his father Melchior Rudisilly. [8] [9]
1821 Adam Rudisill was listed on the septennial census in 1821 in St Thomas, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. [10]
1828 Adem Rudesill was listed on the septennial census in 1828 in St Thomas, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. [11]
1830 Adam Rudisell (50 thru 59) lived in St Thomas Twp, Franklin County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (5 thru 9), 1 (10 thru 14), 1 (15 thru 19), and 1 (20 thru 29); and females: 1 (5 thru 9), 1 (10 thru 14), 1 (15 thru 19), 1 (20 thru 29), and 1 (40 thru 49). [12]
1832 Adam Rudisill, of St Thomas Twp, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, dated his will on February 9, 1832. The will named wife Elizabeth and children: Henry, Catharine married to Wm Bolten, Rebecca married to Peter McConemy (McCononey?), Christian, Polly married to Wm Marten (Harter?), Emanuel, Ann, Sharlotte, Sarah, and Jacob. "I devise that my three daughters namely Ann, Sharlotte, Christinia and Sarah should they get married they are to have the same as near as can be got as my other daughters had when they were maried." Wife Elizabeth and son Emanuel were named executors. Witnessed by M Nead and Daniel Hosler. The children may be named in birth order. [13] [14]
1837 The will of Adam Rudisill was proved on May 26, 1837. [15] Emanuel Rudisill was named executor. [16] [17]

1838 The heirs of Adam Rudisill signed a deed in Franklin County explaining that the name of son Adam was omitted from the will. Mary Harter, wife of William Harter was among the signers. Perhaps Mary was "Polly", named in the will. [19]
1839 Elizabeth Rudisill sold land from the estate to Jacob Wall. [20]
1841 Elizabeth Rudisill died on March 18 and was buried in the Early Presbyterian and Lutheran Cemetery in St. Thomas Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of Adam Rudisell and died at age 57y 7m 10d. [21] [22] The grave marker reports a death date of March 13. [23] [24]
ADJOURNED SALE There will be sold, on the premises, 7 miles West of Chambersburg, and two North of St. Thomas, on THURSDAY the 13th day of OCTOBER, inst., the following property, late the estate of Adam Rudisill, dec'd, viz: A FARM, consisting of 148 ACRES, more or less, part Limestone and part Sandstone, situated in St. Thomas township, adjoining lands of John Wilson's heirs, and John Reigel. About One Hundred and Twenty Acres of this farm are cleared, and the remainder well timbered. There is a new two-story Log House, Log Barn, and other necessary buildings thereon erected. A running stream of water passes through this land, and there is a never-failing Well at the door. The land is well limed, and has a good kiln upon it, with plenty of stone. There are also. about 500 pannels of post and rail fence, together with a good APPLE ORCHARD of choice fruit. Also, Fifteen acres of good WOOD-LAND, adjoining lands of Thompson McAllister, Mark Elder, and others. Terms will be made known on the day of sale, by EMANUEL RUDISILL, Exec'r.
At the same time and place, will be offered at Public Sale, TWO ACRES OF LAND, with a new House and Stable thereon erected, situated in Thomas township, 13 miles North of St. Thomas, adjoining lands of Thompson McAllister, Henry Rineberg, Adam Rudisill's heirs, and others. 1878 William Harter, spouse of Mary Rudisill Harter, died on December 19 in Hastings, Richland County, Ohio. He was born on January 31, 1801 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [31]
1920 Joseph E. Edwards, widow, spouse of Julia Edwards, died on November 25, at age 66, in Ft. Wayne, Allen County, Indiana. He was born on January 16, 1854, in Penna, son of Joseph Edwards and Anna Rudison. [32]
Research Notes:
A Daughters of the American Revolution Lineage book (68792) reports that John Adam Rudisill (1776-1836) and Elizabeth Wolff (1784-1841) were married in 1801 with son Henry Rudisill (1801-58). Elizabeth was a daughter of Henry Wolff and Anna Downing (perhaps a hard to read version of Dominy?) (1765-1822), married 1780. Henry Wolff (1762-1841) enlisted, 1776, in Capt. Albright Deibliers' company, Col. James Burd's regiment, 4th battalion, Lancaster County militia, 1779-82; served several other enlistments under different commands. He was born and died in Lancaster County, Pa. [33] [34]
