Research Notes:
Another Anthoni von Sibenthal was active at the same time in Saanen. In two of the baptism records for children of this Anthoni von Siebenthal, Anthoni is identified as the son of Hans. This other Anthoni von Siebenthal and his wife Anna von Sibenthal also had a son named Christian, baptized in January 1683. This Christian would have been age 37 (nearly 38) when Christian von Siebenthal and Barbara Reichenbach were married in late November 1720. His baptism record suggests that he was about 6 1/2 years older than the Christian, son of Anthoni von Siebenthal and Susanna Topfel, baptized in June of 1689, and thus less likely to have been the man married in 1720.
